How can anyone not realize that the communication from the President and his cabinet is committed to cover up as the dictatorships on the left and the right. If this person is not prosecuted, we should understand that this is a nation in which the law is on the side of the wealthy and the powerful, but any Christian should realize that Jesus demonstrated strengtyh in weakness. He was crucified by the empire and, within 300 years the Christian faith was declared the religion of the empire.
When a community of faith becomes a religion and tries to have the protection of the empire (political power), it no longer grows. That is what is happening in the United States.
The blood of the martyrs should be crying out to evangelicals today.
I think (and hope) you made a copyediting error in your piece, where you say that the victim was attempting to turn her car in the direction of the Ice officer. In fact, which is what your story is about, facts, she was turning away. I am hoping you did not mean to say what you said,

I hope it will and it stays peaceful. I believe the nature of we humans unfortunately makes peaceful protest frustrating and doesn't give us the immediate release and satisfaction that violence does, but it does end up being the most effective...in the long run.
