I'm appreciating your good, deep thoughts, in all of your recent posts.

I understand you're a long-time friend of my wife, Danusia. Although the vast majority of my time is spend in service of her and our household, and at age 74 I'm hoping for an actual retirement that doesn't look likely, I identify very much with the academic community, as being a student is the job I have done the best at, and I have wanted to be a writer as a career since age 14. I did get a nice "highest honors in History" degree and I did make a living re-writing things for folks for ten years, but my intellectual quest has been How People Make History and How Can We Explain This With the Social Sciences, I self-published an early version of my ideas in 1980 (got a couple reasonable reviews, and wore out shoe leather to get my investment back), got some hot op-eds published in the 90's and 00's, and since 2010 it's been my high-class website - book-length, no clickbait, all original, and I've always found a lot of readers. My original "philosophy of history" is a featured 9600-word piece, a shorter version is my latest post, and the last 2 months have seen a nice boost in readership, averaging over 500 visitors a day the last two weeks is a new boast I can make (and folks have always returned hour-to-hour and week-to-week), I've never needed it to make money but it sure satisfies my writer's ego.

So yes, wanted to introduce myself and hope to become friends, if you've got any spare time (I'm sure not feeling it much) the site is www philosophical-ron dot com. I am a detailed digressive academic writer, my work is not for everyone's taste, I try not to force it on folks.
