Thanks for your comment, Elaine. I believe you are spot on. We've coarsened as a culture in language, civility and common decency. Those of us who came of age in the '60s and '70s -- when the straitjackets came off a lot of things -- are now, oddly enough, appalled by what we've heard lately. Even in the Boomer heyday, much of what we hear now would be considered too vile and disrespectful.
